Background:

A deployable facility was required for a mining operation to conduct sensing tasks on site-specific samples to analyze their composition.

Description:

A containerized facility was designed and constructed to handle material samples, incorporating drying, processing and presentation to a scanning device. The primary scanning equipment is mounted on an automated rail system, enabling scans at variable distances. Environmental conditions surrounding the sample are precisely controlled and can be pre-programmed to follow a specific scan sequence.
